Foodbank Victoria, first established in 1930, is Victoria’s oldest and largest food relief organisation. Each month, Foodbank Victoria feeds over 116,000 Victorians through their network of over 450 charity partners. Foodbank Victoria works directly with the food chain supply to source and store fresh and staple food items from major manufacturers, wholesalers, supermarkets and farmers. This food is distributed to those in need in the community. Last financial year, Foodbank Victoria distributed 8.4 million kilos of food which equates to 15 million meals.
