Global Citizen Award - Ashleigh Streeter-Jones

 

I am so excited to be one of the 32 recipients of the Global Citizen’s Youth Leaders award.

 

There’s countless hours behind the scenes that go into change making work, and I’m blown away by this recognition of what our team of passionate, driven and incredible volunteers has built. This award will help amplify the work we’re doing with Raise Our Voice Australia to mobilise young women and gender diverse people to transform politics and policy. I can’t wait to connect with people doing similar work in their domestic contexts, and working with these fellow activists to turn ideas into action to end extreme poverty.
