Gasworks Arts Park "Sowing Seeds"
“Sowing Seeds is a new piece of verbatim theatre, born out of the diverse stories, characters, and cultures found within a Melbourne community garden. Performed in an immersive and site-specific way, it invites the audience to share in the gardeners’ rituals, such as harvesting basil for the pesto-making contest in the summer, and planting seeds in the spring. Sowing Seeds is about the importance of community, and the ramifications for the individual when that community is split apart. “
