Murray has been extensively involved with the Rotary Club of Williamstown, twice serving as president of the club; in 1989, he was a Paul Harris Fellow.  He was District Governor 2014 - 2015.  Murray is currently District 9800 Rotary Foundation Chair.

The mission of The Rotary Foundation (TRF) is to enable Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education and the alleviation of poverty. TRF is Rotary’s Charity, it’s our charity and should have the support of all clubs and Rotarians.

In 2018 there were a total of 33 cases of Wild Polio virus worldwide in 2 countries (Pakistan and Afghanistan).  Fighting on the borders in some areas and suspicion has hindered the distribution of the vaccine and administration to children.  Some good news is that Nigeria has now been described polio free. This will mean the entire African continent is Polio free. This is a case for celebration.  To help support the Polio eradication efforts Rotary must ensure the efforts are continued as long as needed. We started this campaign over 30 years ago and will see it through to completion.

This will be held via Zoom on-line.  Details below:
