Bob will be talking about expanding his education programs in partnership with Rotary Clubs, and exploring options to expand to Uganda.
 
About Bob
Bob Immigrated from New Zealand to Australia with his family some 37 years ago in 1984.  He has a PhD from Auckland University and is currently an adjunct Professor at Victoria University a role that involved the supervision of 14 doctorial students, the publication of 92 research papers and senior administration duties.
 
For 11 years he served as a councillor at Wyndham City Council and elected mayor in 2013  He was awarded the Order of Australia in 2013 for services to the community and to education.
 
Bob is a diabetic and is the coordinator of the Werribee Diabetes support group - a position he has held for 14 years.  
 
He is a member of the Hoppers Crossing Rotary, elected President in 2014 and is the current chairperson of the International Committee.
 
This evening George Dade and Bob from the Hoppers Club will be presenting a talk on some diabetes education workshops that were held in Ghana over the last 4 years.
