Bodhi Tree Special School - Update 19 July
As you may be are aware, we have a project Bodhi Tree Special School for the mentally challenged children living in abject poverty in the State of Bihar in India.

The video (click this link ) just sent in by Mr. Dhirendra Sharma, Director of this School highlights the work being undertaken by the School during this Covid-19 crisis.  The school, through their very limited resources, is offering help to around 1000 families in the villages as well as helping sanitise the village hutments. Some of the issues facing the Management of the School is the incidence of parents of these mentally challenged kids getting violent due to frustrations faced by them in this pandemic.  The Bodhi Tree Special School currently has 70 mentally challenged kids under their care and is being fully funded by around 40 individuals mainly from Melbourne through their committed $ 100 monthly donations.

Early this month we transferred $ 14,000 towards continued sustenance for the current quarter for this school.
