About Bob Bob Immigrated from New Zealand to Australia with his family some 37 years ago in 1984. He has a PhD from Auckland University and is currently an adjunct Professor at Victoria University a role that involved the sup ervision of 14 doctorial students\, the publication of 92 research papers and senior administration duties. For 11 years he served as a councillor at Wyndham City Council and elected mayor in 2013 He was awarded the Ord er of Australia in 2013 for services to the community and to education. B ob is a diabetic and is the coordinator of the Werribee Diabetes support group - a position he has held for 14 years. He is a member of the Hopper s Crossing Rotary\, elected President in 2014 and is the current chairper son of the International Committee. This evening George Dade and Bob from the Hoppers Club will be presenting a talk on some diabetes education wo rkshops that were held in Ghana over the last 4 years.
